Copper Center is located about 200 miles southeast of Anchorage, Alaska and is just outside of Wrangell St. Elias National Park. For your convenience, your personal jet or charter aircraft can land at Gulkana Airport's paved runway, where we will pick you up. You can also take a 1-hour charter plane ride from Anchorage to Gulkana. However, if decide to drive, we are a short 3.5 to 4 hour drive along Alaska's scenic highways.

Drive East on the Glenn Highway (#1) via Palmer to Glennallen [~187 miles]
Drive South towards Valdez on the Richardson Highway (#4) [~14 miles]
Turn LEFT at the SECOND Copper Center exit after crossing the Klutina River
Take the SECOND RIGHT at the unmarked gravel road just past the gravel pit [~200 yards]
Keep LEFT at the fork in the road; local gravel airstrip will be on right
